Frome-Secondary School Gas Detection

At Somerset Electrical Company we were pleased to be awarded this project by the local authority. The work carried out included wiring a new Duomo gas detection safety system linked to heat sensors, stop button and gas solenoid.

The containment used was metal conduit with LSF single cables. The supply to the Duomo gas detection equipment was supplied on its own dedicated supply in accordance with BS7671.

This project involved working alongside the schools facilities management team to deliver a comprehensive gas and Co detection device to comply with all new regulations.
